1. How do I install it? Installation is not difficult, yet care must be given to ensure your WallJammer is the greatest thing to adorn your wall.
1. Preparation
• Allow WallJammer to lay flat and adapt to room temperature for at least an hour. • Measure location FIRST to make sure your huge WallJammer will fit on the wall. • Select a smooth wall and wipe with a dry cloth. Do not wet the wall. • Avoid product placement on newly painted walls with paint not fully cured. • WallJammers are huge! We strongly recommend having two people assist with installation.
2. Application
• Do not remove the WallJammer from paper backing all at once. • Begin with the top of image, peel off and apply a small portion at a time to wall. • Continue to peel off paper backing while adhering the rest of the WallJammer. • Once applied, reposition areas if necessary and smooth out any air pockets or wrinkles working from the center outward.
Tips
• Save backing in order to reuse WallJammer. • For best results, remove and reapply WallJammer every 6 months (to prevent any potential damage to wall surface). • Enjoy your WallJammer!
2. Does it matter what kind of wall I put it on? Yes. WallJammers need clean, smooth, dry walls. Pebbly or rough textured walls are not friendly to WallJammer so don't go there. It's OK to put your WallJammer over wallpaper but it has to be clean, dry, and smooth. Some coatings applied to wallpaper to improve the ability to clean it can decrease stickiness so check frequently to see if your WallJammer shows signs of peeling off. Although our materials were not formulated specifically for cars, our customers have successfully shown off their Jammers on the way to sporting events! 3. Will it damage my wall? No. WallJammer are perfectly safe for walls. The special low-tack adhesive does not leave any residue and will not pull off paint so long as the paint is in good condition and isn't already peeling. It's even safe to put up over wallpaper provided that the wallpaper itself adheres properly to the wall. See above for more information on the kind of walls WallJammer prefer. 4. Should I save the liner it comes on? YES! These are the essential tools to transport your WallJammer if you move. So, please save the liner your WallJammer came on, and the TUBE that your WallJammer came in. Also, if for any reason you need to return your WallJammer, you MUST return it on the liner it came on. 5. How do I move my WallJammer to a new location? Identify where you want to move your WallJammer, wipe the wall clean with dry rag, and then with the help of a friend carefully remove the WallJammer from one wall and carry it to the new location. If you are moving it to a new location that is not within walking distance, put your WallJammer back on the original liner it came with and transport to your new location. 6. What if I no longer have the liner that my WallJammer came on and I want to move it? Pull out the wax paper. Peel the WallJammer off the wall and place it on a clean surface – STICKY SIDE UP – place enough wax paper to cover the entire area of your WallJammer and roll it up around any tube that is large enough. DO NOT FOLD your WallJammer as it will cause creases to appear. ::: Top |
